Sr. InfoSec Engineer - Network Defense
Description:
Must be able to provide engineering, analytic, and technical support that will optimize organizational use of resources to: improve and modernize operations research; analyze, develop, and report on standard Computer Network Defense (CND) policies and procedures; and develop Computer Network Defense and Certification and Accreditation (C&A) concepts and curricula.
Position requirements:

(8) eight continuous years of work experience in information assurance or computer network operations, or |
|
a combination of a minimum of five continuous years of work experience in information assurance or computer network operations and a Bachelors degree in an applicable field |
|
Work experience must include five years of Intelligence Community experience in information assurance, developing, analyzing and implementing countermeasures to assist in the protection of U.S., Allied, and friendly networks of interest |
Must have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to research, analyze, and report on adversary computer network operations, trends and use of tools and techniques, with an overall objective of producing indications and warning reports on impending network attacks against the Defense and National Information Infrastructure systems. Should be able to:
|
Develop databases on adversary information warfare and hacker capabilities, intentions and supporting infrastructures to improve SIGINT and/or other intelligence collection opportunities, and assist in protection/recovery from attacks; |
|
Evaluate and recommend information security enhancements, product upgrades, and tools across multiple platforms to ensure minimal exposures; |
|
Evaluate and recommend information security policies to establish guidelines and ensure corporate compliance |
|
Assist management with system consolidations, software upgrades, and internal information security investigations |
|
Assist technical personnel in the development of automated analysis tools by providing specific information about targets and techniques |
|
Assist contingency management groups in planning and executing disaster recovery procedures; |
|
Develop certification and accreditation packages |
|
Must have demonstrated expertise in all forms of analysis reporting and be experienced with creating each product type, and thus be able to organize training for other team members on analysis, tools, or reporting |
|
Must have demonstrated expertise with relevant customer tools and databases |
|
Must be considered a Subject Matter Expert in one or more fields appropriate to Intelligence Analysis or Computer Networking technologies |
|
Must have demonstrated exploitation intelligence analysis and interpretation expertise with commensurate technical writing and editing skills |
Certification in at least one of the following is required:
- NSA IAM - National Security Agency's INFOSEC Assessment Methodology
- CCISP - Certified Critical Infrastructure Security Professional
- CISM - Certified Information Security Manager
- CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional
- SSCP - Systems Security Certified Practitioner
- GIAC - Global Information Assurance Certification
- CSP - RSA Certified Security Professional
- CPP - Certified Protection Professional
Desired Qualifications (not mandatory):
- Education: An advanced (Masters or PhD) degree in an applicable career field
- Experience: Ten years of continuous experience in information assurance
- Certification in at least two of the following is desired:
- NSA IAM - National Security Agency's INFOSEC Assessment Methodology
- CCISP - Certified Critical Infrastructure Security Professional
- CISM - Certified Information Security Manager
- CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional
- SSCP - Systems Security Certified Practitioner

- CSP - RSA Certified Security Professional
- CPP - Certified Protection Professional
