Systems Analyst - Multi-Source Cyber
Description:
Must be able to perform intelligence analysis and select pertinent intelligence source material for specified objectives and format the information for dissemination. In addition, must be able to discover, characterize, affiliate, and report new cyber activity and actors to include describing how the activity is being conducted and also characterization of a sophisticated cyber-capable adversary.
Specific Requirements:
- Experience in static and dynamic analysis, network attack characterization and reconstruction
- Experience in the development of mitigation strategies
- In-depth experience with commercial forensics tools
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate for potential technical and/or operational vulnerabilities
- In-depth knowledge of network tools to identify and interpret anomalous activity in packet details
- Demonstrated ability to aid generation of SNORT and other Intrusion Detection Signatures
Senior level position requirements:

(8) eight continuous years of work experience in Multi-Source analysis or related work experience, or |
|
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable technical field with five continuous years of work experience in Multi-Source analysis or related work experience |
|
Work experience must include 5 years of Intelligence Community |
|
Must have demonstrated expertise in the use of relevant analyst tools and databases |
|
Must have demonstrated expertise in analyzing exploitation opportunities using intelligence reporting to enable operations to gather intelligence information from cyber threat adversary Automated Information Systems |
|
Must have demonstrated communications skills that include the ability to provide formal documentation of analysis and/or research results |
|
Must be considered a Subject Matter Expert in one or more fields appropriate to Intelligence Analysis or Computer Networking technologies, and be able to serve as a Subject Matter Expert for working groups and meetings with partner organizations / agencies |
|
Must have demonstrated expertise in analyzing intelligence information and technical data, documenting information and processes, gathering intelligence information, interpreting analytical results, performing Internet research, writing and editing at a technical/professional level, and managing internal and external customer relations |
|
Must be an effective writer and verbal communicator and support the development of new reporting |
Mid level position requirements:
|
(6) six continuous years of work experience in Multi-Source analysis or related work experience, or |
|
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable technical field with three continuous years of work experience in Multi-Source analysis or related work experience |
|
Work experience must include three years of Intelligence Community or related experience in Multi-Source analysis |
|
Must demonstrate competence with relevant customer tools and databases, and communications skills that include the ability to provide formal documentation of analysis and/or research results |
|
Must be considered a Subject Matter Expert in one or more fields appropriate to Intelligence Analysis or Computer Networking technologies |
|
Must have demonstrated exploitation intelligence analysis and interpretation expertise with commensurate technical writing and editing skills |
Junior level position requirements:
|
(4) four continuous years of work experience in Multi-Source analysis or related work experience or |
|
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable technical field with (2) two continuous years of work experience in Multi-Source analysis or related work experience |
|
Must include (2) two years of Intelligence Community or related experience in Multi-Source analysis |
|
Must have demonstrated exploitation intelligence analysis and interpretation expertise with commensurate technical writing and editing skills |
